The Dillon Yacht Club offers sailing, racing, and special events on beautiful Lake Dillon in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Home of the Dillon Open Regatta, our members enjoy a great schedule of yacht racing, entertainment, food and other special events.

The Club
The Club has roughly 160 members and growing every year. Our season kicks off with our annual "Social Spring Party" held over the Memorial Day weekend. Our sailing season starts in the first of June with an active schedule of one design and PHRF racing with events nearly every weekend from June until late September. Our season ends with the year banquet party held at the end of October. |

Sailing on Dillon Reservoir
Located just west of the Continental Divide and surrounded by 13,000 ft peaks, you are guaranteed some very exciting sailing conditions. Because of this Dillon, Colorado sailors are known to be some of the best in the Rocky Mountain region. |

The Racing
Dillon has a very active and competitive racing program. The most popular fleets are the the J/22s and J/24s. Other fleets active in Dillon include Etchells, J-80's, Ensign 22's, Stars, and a small PHRF fleet. |

Junior Sailing Program
DYCJSP has created a history of excellent summer sailing programs and is a great way to spend a Colorado summer outside learning a lifelong skill, sailing. We focus on 3 things: safety, fun, & sailing skills. Our classes are for kids ages 10 to 18 of all skill levels. |

The Dillon Open Regatta
The Dillon Yacht Club extends a warm invitation to all sailors interested in participating in the 2011 Dillon Open Regatta, the world’s highest regatta at 9,017 ft above sea level, on July 29th - July 31st, 2011. Racing will be held on beautiful Lake Dillon where over 100 competitors will enjoy sunny days and spectacular views of the snow-capped Rocky Mountains. |
